Our experts have put together a list of their favourites to get you started on the right track.
Prike wine expert Hannes Aedla

Hannes’s broad perspective and extensive knowledge in this field are largely based on 18 years of experience working in the HORECA sector of companies involved in marketing alcoholic beverages. In 2004, he started working at Prike, where his first visit to the Barton & Guestier wine estate Chateau Magnoli in France, and the food and drink artistry he experienced there, inspired him to deepen his understanding of wine culture. In 2011-2012, Hannes completed the Junior Sommelier training, followed by the Sommelier course in 2012-2013.
During his years at Prike, Hannes has visited various wine regions as well as champagne, cognac, whisky, and beer producers. Having observed the work processes of many renowned brands on-site, in their unique atmospheres, he has gained a deep understanding of the nature of different wines and other beverages. As a trainer, he is eager to share these fascinating and inspiring insights with all interested parties, offering practical advice on how to best highlight the soul and flavor nuances of each drink and which dishes to pair them with.
Prike wine expert Ketri Leis

Ketri’s 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry include half of that time working as a sommelier. Special attention during this journey has been given to “unknown” or lesser-known wine regions and grape varieties, as well as the production of wines without additives.
Ketri is a certified sommelier and a silver medalist of the international ASI Diploma program. In addition, she shares her knowledge with aspiring wine enthusiasts as a lecturer at the Estonian Sommelier Academy.
Ketri has been competing as a sommelier for around 5 years, during which she has earned the title of Estonia’s Best Sommelier for four consecutive years and has placed several times in the top three at the Baltic Best Sommelier competitions. In the European and African Best Sommelier competitions, Ketri has achieved a spot in the top ten, which remains the best result for Estonia to date.
Prike wine expert Sander Kink

Sander has been working with top wines for over 10 years.
Having previously worked as the head sommelier at several top Estonian restaurants, including Noa Chef’s Hall, which is currently awarded a Michelin* star and was recognized as the Baltic’s best restaurant for three consecutive years by the Nordic White Guide, it can confidently be said that Sander feels right at home among top wines.
Prike wine expert Kristel Niit

Kristel has spent a significant portion of her life with her nose in a wine glass. She began her sommelier career at a top Estonian restaurant that remained a proud member of Estonia’s finest for years, where she was responsible for creating the wine list, training the team, and helping make selections from the best gems in the wine assortment.
After a brief break, Kristel continued by organizing various large and small tastings on Saaremaa and also supported the creation and execution of the local sparkling wine festival.
The greatest driving forces behind Kristel’s work as a sommelier are her curiosity, open-mindedness, and willingness to always try something new.

Risto has been the Estonian Diageo Reserve Brand Ambassador since 2019 and the winner of World Class Baltics 2019.

Moët Hennessy Brand Ambassador Kris Kuusmaa

Kris has worked as a bartender for 12 years in various renowned restaurants and bars. Over the course of a year, he has also gained knowledge and experience in Spain. He has collaborated with various top chefs and event organizers in Estonia, with a lasting desire to offer guests memorable experiences.
Today, Kris has reached the position of Prike Moët Hennessy Brand Ambassador, where he shares his best knowledge and experiences with others.
Kris’s favorite cocktail:
I don’t have a specific favorite cocktail, as there are so many great ones, but I can never say no to a well-made Margarita. There are countless Margarita recipes in the cocktail world, as every bar, restaurant, and café wants to add their own unique twist to it, but in my opinion, the best way to make a Margarita is as follows:
6 cl Volcan de mi Tierra Tequila Blanco tequila
3 cl lime juice
2 cl agave syrup
2 dashes of Angostura Orange bitters
Mix all the ingredients, shake well, strain over ice, and enjoy!
