WINE OF THE YEAR 2026
The Estonian Sommelier Association (ESA) invited all importers and producers of grape wines to participate in the Wine of the Year competition for the sixth time. The aim of the competition is to recognize the best wines available in Estonia each year with gold, silver, and bronze awards, which are presented annually.
A total of 559 wines from 51 different companies were submitted to the Wine of the Year 2026 competition. The wines were evaluated by a professional jury consisting of Estonian sommeliers, beverage specialists, and journalists. All wines were assessed through a strict blind tasting, where the judges were only informed of the wine’s country of origin, grape variety or varieties, and price.
A total of 17 wines from Prike received recognition at the Wine of the Year 2026 competition.
