Maitses on tunda musti marju, taustal kadakamarja. Järelmaitses kerkivad esile peened vürtsid ja siidised tanniinid. Marjases aroomis on tunda pipart, šokolaadi, piparmünti ja sandlipuud. Valmistatud neljast viinamarjasordist (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan).
