Driven by a passion for exceptional Nebbiolo, the Travaglini family has been producing wines of outstanding quality and prestige for five generations. The vineyards are located in the hills at the foot of Monterosa, an area characterised by alpine winds, rocky soil with porphyry, granite and iron. Our grapes are characterised by a distinctive profile, as well as pleasant acidity and elegant tannins. The taste of Gattinara is full, dry, deep and berry. There is a slight acidity. The delightful aroma has hints of red berries, wild berries, plums and licorice. In the background you can find light vanilla, creaminess and leather nuances. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The wine is aged for 24 months in oak and 12 months in the bottle. With very good preservation potential.
