What makes Lafon Rochet terroir unique is that some of the clay in these vineyards is of the same type as the solid blue clay found in Petrus, Pomerol. Since 2012, the manor has employed consultant Jean-Claude Berrouet, who also aids the winemaking in Petrus. Preservation potential until 2041.
